The Whale Rider star will make her DJing debut (or discoing as her daughter Felicity Hall calls it) at Totes Inappropes next Friday, a project by Phoebe Loloma Trezevant-Miller, 24, who has recently returned from running club nights in Japan.
While styling for a Trelise Cooper show, which Felicity modelled in, Trezevant-Miller and Castle-Hughes hit it off.
Twenty-two-year-old Castle-Hughes made a move from the big screen to the stage last year with her role in The End of the Golden Weather.
Keisha Castle-Hughes, who made her Academy Award debut at 11, says she is ready for new things. She is also studying makeup artistry at The Make Up school in Ponsonby, Auckland.
Keisha Castle-Hughes will DJ alongside FLASH, MASE, Honey Badger (Arash) and Sob Baget (Mitchell) on Friday, at James Bar, Parnell.
Keisha Castle-Hughes has tried her hands at many things. Whale riding, playing Mary mother of Jesus, GreenPeace, Motherhood and Nudity for the film Vitner's Luck. Now she is on the decks spinning records. Good Luck Keisha!!!
