Katherine Webb Kicks Off Her Super Bowl Reporting job

Katherine Webb is working her newfound “fame.” Miss Alabama, known for being the girlfriend of University of Alabama national championship quarterback AJ McCarron, is covering the Super Bowl for “Inside Edition” and during Tuesday’s media day she managed to grab more attention than the San Francisco 49ers (you know, who are actually playing on Sunday).
Journalists and reporters in New Orleans for Sunday’s big game were arguably more focused on Webb than on any of the actual players. Since revealing she thought she was destined for Hollywood, the former beauty pageant contestant has wasted no time settling in.

In just the three short weeks since ESPN cameras lingered on her at the BCS title game, Webb has signed on to the reality show “Celebrity Diving,” plans to move to New York City to pursue a modeling career, has hired a publicist and agent, and is reportedly fielding an offer to join “Dancing with the Stars.”

As for McCarron (who by all logic, should be considered the actual star in this relationship), the future pro football player has reportedly given his blessing for his girlfriend to pursue a career in Hollywood after initially being against it.

Brooke Hogan responds to public after Dad tweets pic of her legs

As if having a dad who has a bleach-blond handlebar mustache and wears orange-and-yellow boas wasn’t embarrassing enough!

Over the years, Hulk Hogan and his daughter Brooke have made many cringe with their just-a-little-too-close relationship. (We still can’t get the 2008 image of him rubbing suntan lotion all over her butt out of our heads!) But on Sunday, he really creeped us out when he tweeted a photo of the 25-year-old blonde in a mini dress and high heels with the caption: Brooke's legs.

In his defense (or not), before he posted the pic, he tweeted about going to his Hogan’s Beach bar in Tampa “for a Drizink,” so he probably didn’t have his wits about him.

Naturally, many of his followers were shocked … and not because Brooke has a great pair of stems. “You guys' relationship is disgusting. That s--t is just weird,” wrote @MissJia, while @FVTE3 added, “that s--t is extra creepy.”

But Brooke thought her dad’s actions were totally normal and on Monday took to her Twitter page, where she suggested that those who found Hulk’s comment to be icky were into bestiality … because that makes sense, right? “A dad can't even be proud of his daughter without sickos makin it something it's not,” she wrote. “Really?? Go back to your farm animals. #ignorant.”

Octomom Wins Best Celebrity Sex Tape AVN

loading
Octomom has found something she’s really good at ... besides having babies. Nadya Suleman, who has 14 children including 4-year-old octuplets, won Best Celebrity Sex Tape at the Adult Video News (AVN) Awards – which have been dubbed “The Oscars of Porn” – in Las Vegas on January 21, beating out former Jesse James mistress Michelle “Bombshell” McGhee, Playmate Leola Bell, and Saigon Kick drummer Phil Varone (who won in 2012).

“This is fantastic, what an honor,” the 37-year-old said in a statement. “Hopefully, this award will open doors to more opportunities. I'm proud I did this movie. It helped me grow into a woman. 'Octomom Home Alone' is a true reflection of my intimate side. I am excited to have the award. I am trying to figure out where I will put it."
loading
She may want to leave room on the shelf for more awards. Octomom, who had to get her family of 15 back on welfare in early January, will be returning to the stripper pole on Valentine’s Day at T’s Lounge in West Palm Beach, Florida, as part of a legal deal for the club not to sue her for breach of contract last summer. Octomom angered the club when she danced topless at nearby Playhouse, for which she was paid $5,000 (plus the $10 she charged for autographs). But since she’s had such success as a porn star, might she make another movie? “As of right now, no,” she told Huffington Post. “But you never know.” We’ll take that as a “yes.”

Shakira Gives Birth to Baby Boy

Shakira is singing a happy tune!

The Colombian songstress and her boyfriend, professional soccer player Gerard Pique, welcomed a baby boy on Tuesday, according to Shakira’s personal website.

“We are happy to announce the birth of Milan, son of Shakira Mebarak and Gerard Piqué, born January 22nd at 9:36pm, in Barcelona, Spain,” the statement read. “The name Milan (pronounced MEE-lahn), means dear, loving and gracious in Slavic; in Ancient Roman, eager and laborious; and in Sanskrit, unification. “

And though he’s just hours old and currently only weighs 6 pounds, 6 ounces, it sounds like the little guy will be following in the footsteps of his dad … or that’s what his parents are hoping, at least: “Just like his father, baby Milan became a member of FC Barcelona at birth,” the note continued.

Shakira had given her more than 19 million Twitter followers a hint that her bundle of joy was on the way earlier on Tuesday, writing, “I'd like to ask you all to accompany me in your prayers on this very important day of my life. Shak”

Just last week, Shakira, 35, and her 25-year-old baby daddy announced they were throwing a “virtual baby shower” to support UNICEF and while they said they would “soon be welcoming” their first child, they didn’t specify when. The couple – who confirmed their relationship for the first time almost two years ago – reportedly had scheduled the birth so that Pique could make sure he was there to welcome the newborn.

Sounds like all went according to plan!

Drew Barrymore Balances Parenthood, Marital Bliss, and Building an Empire

loading Is there anything Drew Barrymore can’t do? The 37-year-old actress has been one busy lady this past year, starting a wine label and launching her newest endeavor, her Flower Beauty cosmetics line with Walmart. Despite her hectic work life, she gushed to omg! that the best thing in her life right now is her 4-month old daughter, Olive, and her hot hubby of seven months, Will Kopelman. We caught up with the bubbly brunette to get the scoop on her life as a new mom and wife and her foray into the beauty industry.

How is it being a mom to Olive?
It’s the best, she’s the best. She’s almost four months.

Did Olive join you and Will here in NYC?
Yes. She’s here and she loves the stroller. We don’t do strollers in L.A., since we have cars. She loves it!

Even with a baby on board, you managed to sneak in a date night to the Knicks game. How do you balance mommy duties with keeping the spark alive?
loadingYou have to or you’ll lose sight of the person. You’re in it together. We’re parents first, but you try to remember to do date nights and keep it sexy and fun. [Will] sees me in frickin’ sweat pants and scrunchies six days a week. I need an excuse to pull it together for my man. I am like, “Oh, we’re going out? Got it! Give me 5 minutes.” That’s all it takes. I don’t have more than five minutes to get ready, but I try to impress him.

You’ve dabbled in many different things – wine, makeup, movies – what do you hope your daughter will do?
Whatever she does in life I will celebrate, as long as it doesn’t hurt another person. I want to teach her to care, and do your homework and research. Whatever you’re doing, be passionate and very studied about it. I think you do your best work if you really care about it and if you really know as much as you can about it.
loading

Do you hope she’ll get into the makeup business?
I would love if my daughter was interested in working on this with me one day and if we could be lucky enough to keep going. One thing I love about makeup is legacy. I loved learning what I learned at CoverGirl and being a co-creative director. I got a college degree – I wanted to use it and go out in the world and do something with it.

What made you want to create your Flower Beauty cosmetics line with Walmart?
I wanted to curate a line that is for everybody. If you really love to play with color, we have insane colors. If you really love neutrals and you want to look your best and beautiful, we have those colors too. We tried to think about how to balance the two. As a woman, we’re not expressive every day of our lives. We really want to do just a few little things that make us feel our best so we can think about other things that are bigger and more important.

What do you love most about the new line?
loadingI like that I can pull from the line and make a ‘90s look and I like that I can pull from the line and do a bright coral lip and a pale eye. I can do a smoky eye and a very pale lip that’s not “too blue” or “too nude” or “too dead.” Or with nail color, I wanted a pink nail that has a pop of color. I don’t want to get a manicure and think that it looks like I didn’t do anything.

Do you do your own makeup?
I do it every day. I’m lucky because all of my best friends are the best makeup artists in the world. I have learned a lot of stuff from them and seen a lot of tricks and copied things over the past 20 years. I’ve always been unafraid of being playful with it, and I see what they’re doing in fashion and on the runway. It makes me feel better about being bold because they’re doing it. I may look like a freak at a concert – I don’t care because I’d do it anyway – but they’re making it look cool on the runway and it makes me feel like, all right, I have a justification here.

What is your favorite personal beauty look?
I love neutrals and I love being a mom now. I am actually feeling like, how young can I look?

Ashley Greene’s New Tattoo

If you notice Ashley Greene with a special spring in her step the next time she walks the red carpet, it could be because of her new tattoo!

On Sunday, the 25-year-old actress unveiled some new ink: the words “life’s a dance” written in delicate script across her left foot. The “Twilight” star isn’t a newbie when it comes to tattoos – she has at least one other. Hidden behind her left ear – and only seen when she has her hair pulled back in a ponytail – is a heart-topped key.

Miss Alabama Katherine Webb

It’s been two days and everyone is still talking about Miss Alabama Katherine Webb. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that the girlfriend of Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron is easy on the eyes, a fact ESPN announcer Brent Musberger pointed out on air that sent them both into the pop culture conversation … and landed Webb on the “Today” show this morning. After Musberger openly ogled the 23-year-old – “What a beautiful woman! Wow!”were among his comments – many declared the 73-year-old sportscaster “creepy” and shamed him for objectifying women. In turn, ESPN sprung into action, releasing the following statement on Twitter.

“We always try to capture interesting storylines and the relationship between an Auburn grad who is Miss Alabama and the current Alabama quarterback certainly met that test,” ESPN vice president of communications Mike Soltys posted. “However, we apologize that the commentary in this instance went too far and Brent understands that.”

Webb, whose Twitter followers jumped from around 1,000 to more than 230,000 because of the exposure, felt this apology was completely unnecessary.

“I don’t think (an apology) was needed, honestly,’’ Webb told “Today.” “Of course, I appreciate it, but at the same time, I don’t think that I needed an apology.

“I think the media has been really unfair to (Musberger),’’ she explained. “If he would’ve said something along the line that we were hot or sexy or made any derogatory statements like that, I think that would’ve been a little bit different, but the fact that he said that we were beautiful and gorgeous, I don’t see why any woman wouldn’t be flattered by that.’’

Speaking of compliments, we’re guessing the lad mags are already making moves to put Webb on their covers. Maxim, for one, already has their sights on the lovely lady.

"We'd love to work with Katherine,” Dan Bova, the magazine’s Editor in Chief, tells omg!. “But whether or not that happens, I can say the crowd shots of her were the only thing that kept millions of guys from turning that train wreck off after the first 15 minutes."

We have to tip our hats to Webb ourselves. In addition to her looks, the woman has poise and class for days. Despite her meteoric rise to fame, she told “Today” that she’d like the credit from the big ACS championship game to go where credit is due.

“I think that we need to draw back our attention to who the real winners are, and that’s the Alabama football team,” she said. “They spent so long getting ready for this season and they won their second back-to-back national championship, and that’s such an accomplishment … I’m flattered at all the attention, and I’m humbled. At the same time, I’ll do whatever I can to help the team out and support A.J.”

Heidi Klum interview from Marie Claire magazine

Heidi Klum's split from husband Seal was one of the most shocking breakups of 2012, but don't worry, because she insists that it's really not that bad.

imagebam.com"People say, 'Oh, God, how devastating to go through a divorce,'" Klum says in the the new issue of Marie Claire magazine. "Did I wish for this to happen to my family? No. But everyone is healthy; we're moving on with our lives. If someone got [very sick], God forbid, that would be a real problem. It's not what I wanted – it's not what anyone wanted – but it's not a real problem." The 39-year-old and her singer hubby of more than six years, who were once so in love they renewed their vows every year on their anniversary, announced their split in January 2012. Since September, Klum's been open about the fact that she's in love with her bodyguard of four years, Martin Kirsten, although she doesn't plan to marry him or anyone else. Ever.

ImageBam image upload"I don't think so. No. No," insists Klum, who was married to stylist Ric Pipino from 1997 to 2002 before Seal. "I wanted to keep the memory of our wedding alive every year, and that's why I thought it would be fun to get married over and over. But now I don't think it is that important. I'm not angry about anything, but I don't think I will. Maybe if I'm with someone for 15 or 20 years, and we do it in our old age as a fun thing to do .... But I don't have the urgency anymore."

imagebam.comKlum is equally confident in what she does want out of a relationship. "I don't like to feel like the dominant person," the mom of four reveals. "I like to have a strong man by my side. The most important thing is to be free and real. You should never fake something – and I don't mean an orgasm. You should be kind and sometimes do things that other people want, but you have to be you." She's especially adamant that a partner be honest about their needs in the bedroom. "Some people are more experimental in bed and others are more boring. If you are wild and crazy, bring it on so the other person is well aware that you have little devil horns that come out every once in a while," she says. "It's good to make an effort to dress up sometimes, to do things outside of the norm."
And although the "Project Runway" star is gorgeous as ever, she claims she's not interested in dating a drastically younger man. "I can understand why a woman finds a young man attractive, because the truth is that when men get older, their shape changes," notes Klum, whose show returns to Lifetime this month. "Younger men train more, and when the clothes come off, it is nice to look at a sexy, ripped body. But I am realistic. I'm turning 40 next year; I don't think I could deal with waking up next to a 25-year-old."
